“The more I think about it, the more disappointed I am by Amon’s Noatak story and subsequent death. Yes, I found his backstory to be interesting but it seriously came out of fucking nowhere and then he just dies and what the bloddy hell was that. Amon pre-Noatak had the potential to add a LOT of depth and complexity to this series and they completely ruined it for the sake of “shock value” in the finale. “I don’t understand why people like Legend of Korra so much. The plot skipped all over the place, the latter half of the season was far too rushed, the romance was forced and shoved down our throats, the characters were bland, had hardly any depth and had learned NOTHING by the end of the season. The only redeeming parts were the animation and Bolin, until he got relegated to one comic relief line per episode. Overall, it was a complete disappointment and did not live up to ATLA in the slightest.”

“Before I started watching A:TLA, I used to make fun of my younger brother for watching it, because I thought it was Nickelodeon crap. One day, “The Chase” was on and my brother was watching it in the living room.
