“I feel like the fandom can be too harsh. No matter what the writers do, everyone seems to hate it. Can’t we all just learn to love the show despite its faults?”

“I’m surprised that Katara didn’t go into a deep depression after Aang died. I image it’s because he asked her not to since one day they’d meet each other again one day.”
“The more I think about it, the more disappointed I am by Amon’s Noatak story and subsequent death. Yes, I found his backstory to be interesting but it seriously came out of fucking nowhere and then he just dies and what the bloddy hell was that. Amon pre-Noatak had the potential to add a LOT of depth and complexity to this series and they completely ruined it for the sake of “shock value” in the finale. Did they just get bored writing him or what.”
“i hope they give Zuko’s daughter a new and unique name instead of naming her Ursa because it’ll be difficult for me to tell apart the Ursa-Zuko’s mom and Ursa-Zuko’s daughter when reading posts or when writing posts, etc. especially when there’s no indicator like ‘Ursa II”“
“Before I started watching A:TLA, I used to make fun of my younger brother for watching it, because I thought it was Nickelodeon crap. One day, “The Chase” was on and my brother was watching it in the living room. As I was walking past the TV, all of a sudden the greatest earthbender in the world was being flawless and before I knew it I sat down and watched the whole episode. Then, I went to my room and downloaded the entire series. I’m hooked to this day.”
“I think it’s really unfair of everyone to hate Mako because of some stupid relationship choices he made. He was a caring big brother that lived on the streets because his parents died. He worked hard for everything he had. So who cares if at one point he didn’t know what he wanted. He’s still a good person”
“it nags me that Bryke doesn’t always include sister-sister relationships in the Avatar franchise. and when they do, they are not given special attention unlike brothers or brother-sister relationships, like in the case of Jinora and Ikki. it sort of implies that a sister bond is never as strong as a brotherly bond, which is why it’d be appropriate and balanced if Honora/Zuko’s daughter would have a sister instead of a brother.”
